GETTING THERE?
It is easily accessible by public transport and a train stops at cottesloe station, so get your bathers and beach towl and come down.
WHAT MAKES IT SO POPULAR?
* THE BEACH - Cottesloe is a great place to swim, snorkel, surf, kiteboard and have fun under the sun. You will be amazed at the white sand and the friendly people that come here. There are also surf lifesavers on duty to ensure that you will be kept safe and remember swim between the flags.
* FISHING - Not many people know it but the Cottesloe groin has some great morning fishing. There are abundent West Australian Herring to be caught here in the early hours of the morning. Make sure you abide by the laws of the Fisheries department as you do need a licence but it is cheap and it all helps conservation of our precious ocean resources.
* CAFE'S - There Are many Cafe and places to eat at or simply relax with a meal overlooking the water. Perfect!* ART GALLERY - Not far from Cottesloe are some great art galleries to visit. You will see some amazing works from Australian artists. See the Gadfly Gallery in Dalkeith and purchse the perfect present to take home.
